Stargazer Tour Postponed

Stargazer Tour Postponed

David Scott’s Australian tour to promote his memoir, Stargazer, has been postponed due to the COVID19 pandemic. The author is safely back at home after driving all-night in a Paul Revere-esque drive with his sidekick and trusted pup, Raven.

Keep your eye on David’s Instagram page for updates about new tour dates. And while you’re waiting out this pandemic, stay safe at home and curl up with a copy of Stargazer! Online delivery is still available via Amazon, Indigo and Barnes and Noble. Click here for links.

  1. Hi David,
I would just like to say that I enjoyed you book “Stargazer” very much. Particularly the early history around how and why the Melba Theater at Cobram was built and some of Cobram’s early history. I attended the Melba Theater at Cobram as child, teenager and young adult and have fond memories around this. I also attended the Lakeside drive-in at Yarrawonga many times.
As a child I always wondered about your family’s house next to the Buncles and who built it, to me it was the most glamorous house in Cobram.

    1. Thanks for the great comment. Much appreciated. A sequel is in the pipeline, along with a renew of the road-trip in the future. Maybe 2022, if the virus is contained. David Scott

    2. Gavan, I hope I have already replied, but in case I haven’t I really enjoyed your comments – the story is life as I saw it. Hopefully, we’ll meet when I revive my southern road-trip – maybe next year. Best regards, David

    3. Hi Gaven, I have just finished the final edit of my new work — and my proudest work yet. Should be available in March. Planning to head south Feb to May 2023 — if the Covid outbreak is more settled. Had my booster jab, and I daresay will need more booster jabs throughout 2022.

    1. February 2022 hopefully will see me and Raven, my dobermann, on the road south, through Goondawini and as far as Spreyton Tasmania. More nearer the time.Thank you for your interest.

    2. Goodness it is almost 12 months since you posted on my site. Please forgive my tardiness. The tour south is now scheduled from February to May 2022. I will head the inland way through Parkes and Forbes, spending lots of time in the towns I grew up in –Cobram, Albury, Tocumwal, Finley, Berrigan, Numurkah, Shepparton, and then heading to Melbourne as guest speaker at Cinema Industry meeting (CATHS), and hopefully ferrying to Tassy to catch up with friends at Spreyton. A great end to my 79th year, and maybe a start to my 80th year. By then my traveklling companion will be nudging 8 — Raven, my beloved dobermann.

    3. Today I finished the final edit of my latest, and proudest work. It should be available March. Trip south planned for 2023 – Feb — to May.

  3. Looks like the Covid crisis is easing. Planning on an extensive tour from February 2023, when my new novel, Butcherbirds Cry at Midnight will be in print. It leaves the original version in the dust, It has grown along with me as an author. Half way through book one of my Mesozoic trilogy. Hopefully it will be in print next year.

  4. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year all.
My new book will knock your socks off. I reckon copies will be available in March. Working cafe & lollypop guy at school crossing to have it published.

  5. I’m really enjoying the theme/design of your website. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility issues?
A number of my blog visitors have complained about my website not working correctly in Explorer but
looks great in Chrome. Do you have any advice to help fix this issue?

    1. I’m not overly competent as far as websites go. May I suggest you contact an expert or maybe my great publishers who are always helpful. John at Tellwell is brilliant with that sort of thing. Good luck, David Scott

  6. Happy and healthy New Year to all. Planning my southern visit – even to Tassy — for February to May 2023. By then I will have my fourth work available.
    Cheers David Scott
